Lauren Zeiss has over 26 years of experience in the energy, petrochemicals, oil, fuel, gas, mining, and metallurgical industries. More recently she has been focusing on renewable energy. She has well rounded international experiences across most industrial chemicals having worked in South Africa, Germany, the US, UK and Qatar. Over the course of her career, Lauren has gained experience working across the value chains of many solvents, plastics and polymers, linear alpha olefins and surfactants, caustic soda and chlorine as well as vinyls PVC and PET value chains.
Having started off as a senior business analyst and working her way up to Head of Business Intelligence at Sasol, Lauren has extensive experience in the fields of market research, both primary and secondary as well as management consulting which required engagement with C-suite clients. Her expertise span business intelligence and analysis and modelling, capital project evaluations, new business development, strategic planning, specialist pricing, product and marketing management in addition to consulting. She has worked in the capacity of functional head, senior leadership and general management roles.
