Karabo Mashabane is a management consultant with a BSc Honours in Engineering (2021) from the University of Cape Town and currently pursuing a Masters in Applied Data Science at the University of Johannesburg. Karabo brings 3 years of experience specialising in master planning and strategy development. He has gained valuable experience in master planning and related studies, reviewing strategic frameworks and supervising operations and maintenance (O&M) of toll road projects. He has worked on land transport related projects throughout South Africa, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Botswana.
Karabo leverages his master’s degree to solve complex problems which focuses on advancing competitive intelligence by critically analysing and interpreting data and information for tactical and strategic business decision-making.
His deep understanding for site-specific impacts and strategic planning enables him to address the multifaceted challenges of modern systems from a microscopic to a macroscopic level, driving innovative solutions and enhancing operational efficiency. Furthermore, He has developed his entrepreneurial mindset through the Allan Gray Orbis Association program which recognizes and cultivates young African leaders for impact change. Prior to AIA, Karabo was a Civil Engineer at a multinational engineering consultancy and advisory company
