Jennifer Zeiss has over twenty-five years of experience in the energy and petrochemical industries in the fields of process engineering, business development, strategy and business performance. She also has solid executive management experience, having served as an executive committee member for the Technology and New Business Development divisions of Sasol.
She worked on a wide range of process engineering roles including an Unleaded Fuels project (from concept to commissioning) and was also the business development lead on many petrochemical projects. In her latter years, she focused on the business development of gas commercialisation opportunities such as pipeline gas to markets, gas to fertilisers and Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) to produce fuels from natural gas and was the Sasol lead on a prefeasibility study for a GTL plant in Mozambique.
She began a career in consulting in 2015 and conducted a number of market and business development studies for clients regarding the downstream commercialisation of the large gas finds in the Rovuma Basin. In 2019, she teamed up with AIA on the development of two large regional gas studies viz the SADC Regional Gas Market and Infrastructure study for ENH to identify downstream anchor projects (including power, fertilisers and fuels) as well as Phase 1 of the SADC Natural Gas Master Plan. She is now a Partner in the Integrated Energy Practice at AIA.
She is a self-driven, motivated individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders. She is passionate about people and has experience leading and integrating multifunctional teams on large complex energy projects, with a strong focus on delivery.
